On 4th December 2023, we invited groups from both our Old Trafford & Broomwood Community Wellbeing Centres to perform at the prestigious Band on the Wall venue in Manchester city centre, and what a night it was!
Thank you to everyone who performed on the night, to everyone who came to support and to the Seed Studios volunteers, staff and trustees who made the event happen. We were so proud to see so much talent, resilience and passion on display on that stage, as well as the support and pride that family, friends and other centre users felt watching people come together.
Audience members on the night said the gig “showed that everybody has some musical ability”. People said they left “beaming with pride” and that it was a “life-affirming” experience.
We also made some limited edition merchandise to mark the event. Our wonderful Seed Studios t-shirts were designed by Al Robertson and screen-printed by Small Press Studio in Stockport, so thank you to them!
