We had an amazing time hosting a Seed Studios Open Mic, yesterday at the Limelight Centre in Old Trafford!
There were impromptu singing performances from new faces, surprise poetry recitals and lots of spontaneous musical joy. Our Sound Explorers crew brought a flavour of their session every Monday 1 to 3pm at our Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre has to offer, with free jazz odyssey stretching into bluesy riffing and back towards deep ambient soundscapes.
We were also treated to several renditions of classics, the likes of which can be heard at our Old Trafford Jamming Group every Thursday 11am – 1pm.
We were even joined by String of Hearts CIC (with whom we host two monthly sessions with for primarily older adults at risk of isolation) and who host their own weekly session at the Limelight Centre itself.
This Open Mic and our other celebratory events are a great chance for us to showcase our workshops which are brimming with brilliant talent, joy and creativity.
